Noxinian Territory
Caverns During the winter, the packs stops sleeping in shallow dens or outside, as they do in the relatively good weather, and sleep in the caves to protect themselves from the cold and the winter storms. Because these caverns extend deep and are numerous, everyone usually can get their own den. The Alphas get the largest den, and Betas get the second largest.

Icy Cliffs Several cliffs with slopes ranging from steep to smooth are all around the area. Whether natural rocky placements or simply giant mounds of snow and ice, this area is generally where pups and young adults come to play. Although most adults frown upon this, the reckless young ones do it anyways. The general fear is that a small pup will fall off one of the steep cliffs and be injured. It has happened many times, but the fool-hardy young are rarely deterred.

The Rock Crown A strange, unnatural formation, five rocks have been placed evenly in a circle, with a flat bed of ice in the middle during winter. Here is where wolves of Nox meet during special events and meetings. Otherwise, this area is generally used for milling about and chit-chatting.
In other words, this would be the area where "chatty well-wishers" hang out.

Contested Territory
Open Tundra While this area looks like it wouldn't be important, providing no shelter, it's actually a major crossing area for prey such as caribou, oxen, and even things as hare. Because arctic wolves happen to eat anything they can get, and many creatures cross through here searching for food, Solites and Nixinians are both eager to claim this as their own. It is a common battleground, and kills are often ambushed by the opposing pack if one isn't careful.

Ice Flows During the summer, the sea invades the inner Arctic, at which both seal, polar bear, and other creatures follow. Because seal babies are delicious and hard to obtain, especially when dodging bears and wolves from the other pack, it is generally a zone that is also fought over. However, it is much more dangerous to be occupied here. Far too many things can spring up unexpectedly. Larger predators, violent walrus, and even thin ice pose a threat to any wolf.

Solite Territory
Mountain Foothills When in the south, the Solites live in the foothills of some small mountains, preying on goats who come too low. They sleep in small dens they can dig in the more mobile soil, or in little holes in the base of the mountain.

The Stone Tree The place where, in the Arctic summer, the Solites make their home. The stone tree marks their place just off of Nix territory. Here, pups are birthed and the Days of Light are celebrated. The wolves also hold this as their base against the native Nixinians, whom every summer they are at war with.

Path of Light It is a long road from the Sol summer and winter home. This whole path, in which members walk in line, is their claim. While they only walk here in migration, loners sometimes stray here. An unwise move, since they may come on a horde of Solites.

Neutral Territory
Birthing Meadow A land that used to be contested, it was decided that for the better well-being for pregnant females, that the wolves call this a truce area. However, only females are allowed. Pregnant females come alone and stay here until the pups are old enough to move during the bitter cold. Usually, another female will come with the other, to help pupsit and to help hunt for food, while the mother is isolated from the pack. Fathers and other males are not allowed, not only because of the truce, but because mothers are highly protective of their brood.

Corin Mountains While humans have a different name for these small mounts, the wolves call them Corin. Because none of the packs are interested in the peaks, this area is generally a peaceful place. It is too cold to venture up in winter, and prey is very, very dangerous to chase in such a high altitude. Thus, few wolves go up here. Besides, Nixinians would have to make a trip round the Solite territory to get there.

Jaws of Arignon Arignon was one a great Nixinian. During the eighth year of war between the two clans, they came to a strange structure for the second stand off of the year. It was a basin, dipping down into the earth with rocky formations around the area. The water at the bottom was frozen in winter, but with summer it was warmed and good for drinking. Arignon was in love with a maiden of Solite, and he despaired of harming her family. They were having a secret meeting when the two packs arrived. When Arignon's father, the Alpha, leaped to kill the maiden, Arignon selflessly took the fatal blow, and perished. Filled with despair, the Alpha could not go on fighting or commanding, and the Solites won the battle by default. However, recognizing the selfless act of Arignon, they did not claim the terrritory, and named it after the Nixinian. It was decided this would be the place where the two packs met, both male and female, in peace. If one pack were to ask council of the other, the Jaws of Arignon is the place to come to. As none can battle here, it is considered a crime in both packs to draw blood here, in the place of Arignon's sacrifice.
